Thomas has said if you are someone who prefers a quieter shopping experience, the best day to shop is Tuesday, particularly before 10am and after 6pm.
As for the best day when it comes to their 'Fresh Weekly Offers' he added that shoppers should head down on Thursday as it's when they have the best meat and fish products on offer allowing you to snap up the best fresh produce deals.
With the cost of living affecting everyone across the UK, people are keen to snap up bargains wherever they can as well as discounts no matter how small as every penny saved can make a massive difference.
To help with this, Thomas has pointed out that 30 per cent, 50 per cent or 75 per cent discount stickers are applied to products at various points throughout the day as they approach their best-before or use-by dates.
This is in order to help reduce food waste - and whilst some of these may not be a product you are after, you can find gems such as rice, pasta, cereal and tinned food are also reduced 30 per cent - including if the packaging is imperfect.
Aldi’s middle aisle is iconic for bargain hunters across Scotland with shoppers urged to visit on Thursday and Sunday when the products are launched. But you need to be quick as many of us will know as they don’t stay on the shelves for long.
The handy tips comes as Aldi was crowned UK’s cheapest supermarket in 2022 by consumer champion Which? for the second year in a row.
Additionally, Aldi Scotland scooped the Scottish Sourcing Award from the Scottish Food and Drink Excellence Awards in September, further reinforcing its commitment to retailing and working with Scottish producers.
Graham Nicolson, Group Buying Director, Aldi Scotland, said: “At Aldi, we want to ensure an enjoyable shopping experience for our customers as well as one that is favourable to the bank balance. We provide an extensive range of locally sourced products that our customers now come to expect."
