Look man, NFL fans are weird. Like, crochet a run of their favorite player and bring it to the stadium weird.
This is an accepted practice. So while folks in most industries would be escorted out of the building if they showed up with a life-sized, high-quality floor mat of a person they admired, doing so at M&T Stadium gets you celebrated.
That’s what happened last week, as one fan made sure he wasn’t stuck watching the Baltimore Ravens’ 37-3 blowout over the Seattle Seahawks alone. He brought a custom-made throw rug of Lamar Jackson with him to the game. Then, after Ravens’ staffers took notice and told Jackson, the former MVP wasn’t horrified to see his high-quality carpet self.
In fact, he was pretty dang excited about it.
Lamar really wanted that rug. 😂 (via @NFLFilms) pic.twitter.com/jzBumpgjSI

“I want that,” Jackson immediately responds upon being told about his crumb-hiding doppleganger. “Tell his [expletive], I want that damn carpet.”
The video cuts off before we get resolution to this conflict, but it seems likely Jackson got the rug which, fortunately for all parties, cuts off at his waist.
