Baltimore Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson had a heroic day on Christmas yet only needed 15 total passing attempts to do so. Ironically, the low volume of pass attempts didn’t stop Jackson from tallying two passing touchdowns and finishing with a rating of 143.9 on the afternoon.

Quality over quantity should be a moniker associated with Jackson who ranks No. 4 in the NFL in total passing yards. More impressively, Jackson ranks all the way at No. 15 in total passing attempts.
Furthermore, it’s not that Jackson needs a high volume of passing attempts to keep the chains moving and yield chunk plays. Finishing with an average of 11.2 yards per attempt Wednesday, Jackson had the Houston Texans on their heels the entire game.

It’s literally the dual-threat ability of Jackson that makes the offense so dynamic for the Ravens. However, when offensive coordinator Todd Monken abandons the run, he puts Jackson is very predictable passing scenarios offsetting the entire flow of the team.
Critics have to be impressed with the consistency Jackson has played with this season. The Ravens definitely have a chance to push into the post-season with their eyes on the Lombardi Trophy.
