Lamar Jackson is hyped for the release of EA Sports College Football 25 video game

Lamar Jackson hasn’t played college football in six years, but he is the center of the buzz surrounding the release of EA Sports College Football 25.

The new game drops July 19 and includes a feature where you can play with a super team of current NFL players portrayed in their college days.

Jackson is one of those players, and this feature undoubtedly excited him.

“Who do I contact to get my NCAA 25 right now,” Jackson tweeted, along with a puzzled face emoji, late Tuesday morning.

The official EA Sports College account then playfully highlighted how the reigning NFL MVP called the video game by the wrong name.

However, they did imply that Lamar would still get his advance copy of the game.

“Because you’re @EAMaddenNFL Cover Athlete family… We’ll forgive you for using the wrong name #CFB25 Our people will call your people,” the account tweeted, along with a look at this emoji.

The back-and-forth led to the Ravens franchise quarterback becoming a top trending term on the platform. Had the banter been by design and not organic, this would have been a brilliant publicity stunt.
