The Los Angeles Lakers host the Oklahoma City Thunder on Monday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Lakers continue arguably the toughest stretch of their schedule with another contest against a team that is fighting for the top seed in the Western Conference. They fell apart in the last few minutes of Saturday’s game versus the Denver Nuggets and lost 124-114, giving them a 3-3 record since the All-Star break. With a 33-29 record, they sit in 10th place in the West, and every loss carries a much greater amount of weight than the losses they suffered during the first half of the season.
Oklahoma City currently has the best record in the conference at 42-18, and it has won 10 of its last 13 games, including a 118-110 victory over the Phoenix Suns on Sunday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is second in the NBA in scoring average, has become a prime contender for the regular season MVP, while rookie big man Chet Holmgren looks like a potential future star.
This will be the fourth and final meeting between these two teams this season unless they end up facing each other in the playoffs. Los Angeles won two of the three previous meetings, including the most recent one, which took place on Jan. 15.
