The Los Angeles Lakers visit the Memphis Grizzlies for Game 1 of the first round of the NBA Playoffs on Sunday, and if you’re wondering how you can watch the action live, you’ve come to the right place.
The Lakers are back in the postseason after being conspicuously absent last year, and they will be facing a very good team, not to mention a physical and chippy one, in Memphis. That will mean a full series of battling against Ja Morant, the two-time All-Star who averaged 26.2 points and 8.1 assists a game in the regular season and is arguably the most athletically explosive point guard ever.
During the regular season, these two teams played each other three times, with L.A. winning two of the three contests. However, neither team was at full strength in any of those contests, as Anthony Davis missed the first one, LeBron James missed the second one and Morant was suspended for the final game.
How the Lakers will come out and play, both strategically and energy-wise, in the first quarter will be a huge key, as will winning one of the first two games in Tennessee in order to steal home-court advantage from this young Grizzlies squad.
