The Los Angeles Lakers will have LeBron James in the starting lineup against the New York Knicks, the team announced.
James has not played in the last five games due to left knee soreness, and the Lakers listed him as questionable with a looming game-time decision to be made.
James got up shots to warm up to see if he’d have the legs to play, and it looks like he passed that test.
The Lakers have posted a 1-4 record in his absence, with the lone win coming against the Portland Trail Blazers.
LeBron did not play in the first game of the season against the Knicks back in November, a game that L.A. lost. Now the Lakers can try to build a winning streak with their star man back.
