Lakers shouldn’t miss LeBron James, Russell Westbrook much against the Trail Blazers

LeBron James and Russell Westbrook are both questionable for the Los Angeles Lakers, as they get set to visit the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night. James is dealing with a left knee injury and Westbrook has lower back tightness.

The Lakers are favored by 7.5 points on Tipico Sportsbook, with -350 odds on their moneyline. Portland’s moneyline has +265 odds.

Even with James and Westbrook in the lineup, the Lakers have struggled this season. They’re just 26-29 with just two wins in their last seven games. Still, if there’s a team they should be able to overcome the absences against, it’s the Blazers.

Lakers at Trail Blazers, 10 p.m. ET

Spread: Lakers (-7.5)

Moneyline: Lakers (-350), Blazers (+265)

Over/Under: 221.5

Portland is a team in full rebuild mode. Damian Lillard is out for the foreseeable future due to injury and C.J. McCollum was recently dealt to the New Orleans Pelicans.

The Lakers still have Anthony Davis and a cast of other players capable of holding their own against Portland. Just last week, the Lakers beat Portland by five in a game James also missed while Westbrook shot just three-of-12 for nine points.
