The NBA released the third and final batch of fan voting results for the 2022 All-Star game, and Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James is back on top.
After trailing Golden State Warriors star Stephen Curry the last few weeks for the top spot in the Western Conference, James has taken over by a solid margin.
James now has 6,827,449 votes, about 800,000 more than Curry. That means James should maintain his spot as a captain in the All-Star game, a title he’s held for the last four years since the NBA revamped the game’s format. James also leads the NBA in fan voting.
Elsewhere for the Lakers, Anthony Davis is No. 5 on the list with 2,071,920 votes, and Carmelo Anthony (No.7) has 1,449,475 votes to round out the frontcourt. In the backcourt, Russell Westbrook is No. 6 with 855,990 votes.

Fans account for 50% of the vote to determine the starters for the game, while current NBA players and a media panel each have a 25% stake. Head coaches select the reserves.
The 2022 All-Star game is slated for Sunday, Feb. 20 in Cleveland.
