Lakers at Rockets: Wednesday’s lineups, injury reports, broadcast and stream info

On Wednesday night, the Houston Rockets will play the Los Angeles Lakers for the fourth and final time this season. If you’re wondering how you can watch all the action live, you’ve come to the right place.

The young and rebuilding Rockets did not win any of those earlier games versus the star-studded and veteran-laden Lakers, but they did come close on multiple occasions. They were a missed Kevin Porter Jr. 3-pointer at the buzzer from winning at Los Angeles in November, and they were a controversial replay judgment from leading with just over two minutes left in the first matchup at Toyota Center in late December.

Now, with Porter and rookie guard Jalen Green in arguably the best form of their young NBA careers with the Rockets, is this the time for a breakthrough? Over his last eight games, Green is averaging 20.4 points on 48.1% shooting and 35.8% on 3-pointers, while Porter is scoring 25.5 points per game this week on 50.0% shooting and 42.9% on treys.

The Lakers look to be reeling with 12 losses in their last 16 games, while Houston’s last experience at home likely built confidence via Sunday’s upset victory over the Grizzlies — who sit at No. 2 in the Western Conference standings. Los Angeles, by contrast, is at No. 9 and is clinging to one of the final spots just to make the West’s play-in tournament, which they would need to advance out of to make the 2022 playoffs.
