The Denver Nuggets are the reigning NBA champions, and they earned their rings by sweeping the Los Angeles Lakers along the way in the Western Conference Finals.
The Lakers were able to turn their year around with a few midseason trades, and those deals sparked an unexpected run after the All-Star break during which they had one of the league’s best records.
Although they aren’t far away from winning it all, many feel they need a 3-and-D wing in order to earn another Larry O’Brien Trophy.
Los Angeles is reportedly seriously interested in bringing aboard Bruce Brown, who was a significant factor in Denver taking home the world title (h/t Lakers Daily).
One team with significant interest in signing Bruce Brown away from Denver is the Los Angeles Lakers, multiple sources told @denverpost.
The Lakers could offer him the full MLE ($12.3M annually). Nuggets can only offer up to $7.8M this year.

Brown, 26, joined Denver last summer as a free agent. At 6-foot-4, he can play both shooting guard and small forward, and he averaged 11.5 points, 4.1 rebounds and 3.4 assists a game while shooting 35.8 percent from 3-point range during the regular season.
At least in theory, he would give head coach Darvin Ham a 3-and-D wing to go to in crunch time alongside Austin Reaves in the backcourt whenever D’Angelo Russell is struggling offensively, as he did during the series versus the Nuggets.
