Lady Gaga seemingly had an awkward run in with Caitlyn Jenner at the Oscars.

People were convinced the House Of Gucci actress, 36, snubbed the former Olympian, 72, outside the Elton John AIDS Foundation’s 30th Annual Academy Awards Viewing Party.

In a viral video, Jenner asked if Gaga - real name Stefani Germanotta - was still spending time in Malibu to which she simply replied: “Yes.”

Jenner then followed her question up by asking why she doesn’t bump into the Born This Way singer at their local Starbucks anymore.

Seemingly flustered, Gaga eventually responded: “Well, I’ve - I’ve switched baristas.”

While Gaga turned her head and started to step away, Kris Jenner’s ex made one last ditch attempt at conversation and told her “well, good seeing you”.

Social media was awash with people claiming Lady Gaga had thrown shade at Jenner with her remark about switching baristas.

“Lady Gaga telling Caitlyn Jenner she ‘switched baristas’ is an incredible way to say ‘we are not friends goodbye’ lmao,” one person wrote, among the sea of comments.

Others added: “She switched baristas Caitlyn because of you.”

“This interaction between Lady Gaga and Caitlyn Jenner is sooo awkward, but Gaga is sooo shady.”

“Definitely want a ‘I switched baristas’ t shirt!”

The Standard has reached out to the representatives for Lady Gaga and Caitlyn Jenner.
