NEW YORK — There’s a new reason to just dance.
Lady Gaga announced the rescheduled dates for her long-delayed “Chromatica Ball” world tour, including a stop at MetLife Stadium.
The “Bad Romance” singer kicks off the 14-concert tour in July with five shows in Europe before beginning the North American leg in August.
She’s scheduled to perform at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, on Aug. 11. The tour runs through mid-September also includes stops in Washington, D.C., Boston, Chicago, Atlanta, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
The 35-year-old Gaga, who was born in Manhattan, was originally slated to tour during the summer of 2020 before the performances were postponed for a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The tour was then delayed another year before landing on the 2022 dates.
Gaga released “Chromatica,” her sixth studio album, in 2020.
The tour comes after Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, received nominations at the 2022 Golden Globes and Screen Actors Guild Awards for her leading performance as Italian socialite-turned-convict Patrizia Reggiani in Ridley Scott’s fashion-focused drama “House of Gucci.”
She’s also nominated for five honors at next month’s Grammy Awards for her collaborative “Love For Sale” album with Tony Bennett.
Gaga, a 12-time Grammy winner, is known for songs such as “Just Dance,” “Poker Face” and “Shallow.”
