Internet star Mark Hoyle, more commonly known as LadBaby, has come up with an alternative way to keep cool as temperatures continue to soar. With the Met Office issuing an extreme heat warning, Hoyle shared his latest purchase from B&M to help him sleep – a cooling mat for pets.
Last Friday (July 8) saw parts of the country hotter than Santorini and Los Angeles and the mercury is set to keep rising over the coming days. With work and sleep being difficult in such conditions, the TikTok sensation, who runs @ladbabyofficial, shared his cost-effective £15 product, reports the Mirror.
The mat, most commonly used for dogs, scored well with B&M customers as people prepare for the heatwave. Captioned "I'll be back with an epic HACK! Absolute genius I'm telling ya mate", B&M reposted the video on their TikTok account with the clip being viewed 1.8 million times.
Ahead of revealing the bedroom hack, Hoyle opened the bedroom door and said: "Welcome to the chill max 3000." The blue cooling mats were placed on top of the bed sheets – but underneath the covers – ready to be slept on. "You put them in the bed like this," he demonstrated. "You get in like this..."
After clarifying that the product was indeed meant for dogs, his partner tried the product – much to her surprise. "This is genius," she says as she tried the product out.
