LABOUR MPs – including top Government ministers – have finally taken a stand against the outrageous actions of Israel.
Around 70 parliamentarians turned up for a show of solidarity with Yuan Yang and Abtisam Mohamed, Labour MPs who were banned from Israel over the weekend.
That’s right, Israel has killed more than 50,000 Palestinians, turned Gaza into hell-on-Earth and invaded not one but two neighbouring countries and this is what it takes to get them to speak out: Israel turning on members of the Labour tribe.
In a frankly outlandish spectacle, MPs including Cabinet members gathered on the steps of Westminster Hall to express outrage that Yang and Mohamed were denied entry to Israel.
It was organised by Labour’s Paul Waugh, formerly a political hack, who is clearly terrified of losing his seat at the next General Election.
The Palestine issue can be hugely motivating when you have a majority of just 1000-odd votes, as proven by Wes Streeting’s presence; he came within less than 600 votes of being unseated by pro-Palestine independent Leanne Mohamad in July.
Since arriving home I've been inundated with messages of support from hundreds of MPs from all parties, and from constituents across Earley & Woodley. We are united as British MPs, standing together against this unprecedented decision. Thank you to everyone for your solidarity. pic.twitter.com/KpmIuuEmfR

Look closely and you’ll also find staunch Zionist Luke Akehurst, who appears to have finally found the line he’ll hold Israel accountable for crossing: being unpleasant to his Labour colleagues. He didn’t actually have such strong views on that about six years ago. We wonder what changed.
Representing Scotland are Johanna Baxter, whose passion for being in the front row of group photos is so strong that it’s possible she naturally gravitated there rather than having any strong views, Zubir Ahmed, Patricia Ferguson, Blair McDougall, Alan Gemmell, Chris Murray and Douglas McAllister.
They all have pretty chunky majorities so presumably they genuinely do have stronger views about the freedom of movement of members of parliament than they do about war crimes.
Also there for Scotland was Graeme Downie, who we previously revealed was gifted a trip to Israel by Labour Friends of Israel before he was even elected as an MP.
And the cherry on top came in the frowning face of Emily Thornberry, chair of the Foreign Affairs Committee.
Once known for defending Keir Starmer after he said that Israel had the right to cut off water to Gaza, she came out all guns blazing after a Knesset member secretly filmed her on a trip to the country.
Funny what some people’s priorities are…
