Labour have been criticised for sharing a video on Twitter that celebrates St. George’s Day as it includes footage of Glasgow.
Since St. George’s Day is a tradition celebrated on April 23 in England, people were quick to comment on the mishap.
Leader of the Labour party, Keir Starmer, tweeted the video along with a message which reads: “On behalf of the Labour Party, I wish everyone in England a very happy St George’s Day!”
The video is narrated by Starmer and he explains to his followers that he is travelling to places in England for Labour’s local election campaign.

Glasgow spotted in Labour’s St. George’s Day video
Twitter users noticed the footage of Glasgow in the video and replied to Starmer’s tweet to question its inclusion.
Along with four emojis of a person with their head in their hands and screenshots of Glasgow appearing in the video, one Twitter user wrote: “Where in England is Glasgow Keir?”

Another tweeted: “Thanks, but Glasgow is in Scotland, I think.”
Also with a screenshot of the Glasgow footage, another Twitter user said: “Why have you used footage of Scotland?”
A fourth said: “Lot of Glasgow in your video of England there”
