Los Angeles County Fire Chief announced that the L.A. County water system is fully prepared to assist in fighting wildland fires. Seventy water tenders requested by Cal Fire have arrived, boosting firefighting capabilities. However, the battle is expected to be tougher due to high winds.
Los Angeles Fire Department Chief emphasized the importance of additional resources flooding in to combat the fires. Pre-deployment strategies are being implemented in anticipation of the challenging wind conditions.
