Kyrie Irving has been one of the more frustrating players to watch in the NBA this season because it’s almost like you can barely watch him at all. He’s only playing about every other game for the Brooklyn Nets this season because of New York City’s vaccination mandate.
But, man. When he plays and he plays well? There are not many more exciting shows in the sport of basketball.
We saw that on full display on Tuesday night when the Nets absolutely needed a big performance against the Hornets. Irving dropped 50 points on them to snap a four-game losing streak for the Nets.
But it wasn’t just the 50 points. It was the way he got to the 50 points. Dude only missed four shots total. FOUR.
His shot-making ability is just ridiculous.
"THIS GAME IS ABOUT BUCKETS!"
Kyrie Irving WENT OFF for a season-high 50 PTS on just 19 total attempts, while shooting 9/12 from three-point range! #NetsWorld

There haven’t been too many players in NBA history who have scored like that. Seriously. Let’s take a look.
