Kyogo wins Celtic Player of the Year as Japanese talisman makes it a Treble of individual awards

Kyogo Furuhashi has won the Celtic Player of the Year award after an impressive season in the east end of Glasgow.

Ange Postecoglou's side secured the Scottish Premiership title with four games remaining after defeating Hearts at Tynecastle last weekend. The Viaplay Cup is also in the trophy cabinet for the Hoops after they defeated Rangers in the final earlier this year at Hampden. A treble could be secured this season if Celtic can overcome Inverness Caley Thistle at the national stadium at the start of next month in the Scottish Cup final.

The Japanese forward has been pivotal for the Hoops this season as the dominated the domestic scene in Scotland. He also won the club's Player' Player of the Year and Top scorer award as he continues to make a lasting impression on those at Parkhead. He joined the club from Vissel Kobe in the summer of 2021 and has rarely stopped scoring since his move from the J League
