Kyogo's post-Celtic woes have today continued.
The striker left the Scottish Premiership champions in January as he joined Rennes in a £9m deal.
Since then, the 30-year-old has made just FOUR appearances for the Ligue 1 strugglers - with only one of those coming from the start.
His underwhelming start to life in France has led to growing speculation that Rennes could look to cut their losses on the frontman this summer.
And in a further blow since leaving Celtic, despite being recalled to the Japan national team set-up, Kyogo was today left out of the matchday squad.

Both Reo Hatate and Daizen Maeda were listed among the substitutes for the country's game against Bahrain.
However, despite being in the squad, Kyogo was NOT included in the starting XI nor on the bench for the World Cup qualifier.
Kyogo was consistently overlooked by the Japan national team during his time at Celtic - including their squad for the 2022 World Cup.
