Celtic have suffered a DOUBLE injury blow in their quest for a treble with Kyogo AND Alistair Johnston both limping off in the second half against Aberdeen at Parkhead.
Ange Postecoglou is facing a major sweat over the star duo ahead of the Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caledonian Thistle at Hampden. Kyogo was caught by Dons keeper Kelle roos as the Japanese star contested a ball with the Dutchman before Johnson followed having only just returned from an ankle injury, with Anthony Ralston replacing him.
Kyogo bagged a quickfire brace in the first half but his match was cut short as he was forced off, replaced by South Korean frontman Oh. The 28-year-old’s double took him to 27 for the Scottish Premiership season as he looks to finish the league’s top gun. He has netted 33 in all competitions and will be hoping to add to that in the Scottish Cup final against Inverness Caley Thistle at Hampden.
Postecoglou will be desperate for the pair to recover in time for the clash against the Highlanders as the Aussie chases a domestic clean sweep. Defensive rock Cameron Carter-Vickers is already unavailable, having been out since undergoing a knee operation.
