Kyogo Furuhashi has sent out a message of unity stating Celtic are 'another step closer' to the title as he eyes a domestic double this season.
The Japanese star took to social media on Sunday evening to thank the fans ensure the focus is on the task ahead as his side amassed 29 league games unbeaten with a 1-1 draw with Rangers to keep their six point lead over the Ibrox side at the top of the table.
Jota opened the scoring for the Hoops after 21 minutes before Fashion Sakala equalised midway through the second half to ensure a point a piece.
And Kyogo was quick to highlight how despite only drawing with Gio van Bronckhorst's side, they are a point closer to their ultimate objective.
He wrote: "+1! We wanted more today but another step closer to the objective. Time to focus on the next game!"
While teammate Joe Hart, who came under criticism after being beaten at his near post for Sakala's equaliser, also lapped up the occasion despite failing to get a victory over their Glasgow rivals.
An Instagram post read: “Awesome game. What an atmosphere, we played for the W but couldn’t quite get it done. We move forward to Saturday… together."
Celtic require just four points from their final three games to clinch the Premiership title but with a favourable goal difference the trophy could be all but ensured with victory over Hearts on Saturday.
