Kyogo Furuhashi insists he is happy at Rennes despite his disastrous move from Celtic and believes he can play until he is 35.
The Japanese ace completed a surprise £10 million transfer from the Hoops at the end of the January window to the French side.
However, after being hooked in his first game, he was then relegated to the bench and has been an unused sub in his last two games with manager Habib Beye opting to put other players on despite his side winning 4-0 at Montpellier in their last outing.
It's already led to speculation that the 30-year-old - who won eight trophies with Celtic - could opt to quit the Ligue 1 club as early as this summer.
But in a homeland interview, Kyogo insists he will win his place back at the club and aims to play for another five years.

He said: "First of all, I want to do well here at Rennes and become a player that makes a lot of people want to support me.
"I also want to stay here for a long time and I would like to continue playing until I'm 35. That's my plan - to play until I am 35.
"Of course, there's a chance I might pick up a serious injury in the future, but I hope I can continue playing until then without getting injured."
