Kyogo Furuhashi says he wants to hit a minimum of 20 goals for Celtic this season as he begins his second season in Glasgow.
The Japanese international endeared himself to the Parkhead crowd during term 2021/22, helping boss Ange Postecoglou to a Premiership and League Cup double with 20 goals. He played 65 minutes without a goal in their 2-0 victory over Aberdeen on the league's opening day and Kyogo is targeting strikes in future matches. He believes hitting the same as he did last term for Celtic would be a success.
He told juji.com: "I want to score more than 20 goals, focus on what's in front of me and keep getting results, which is my appeal as a forward. We have to be able to make up our minds, we have to peel another skin or two. We have to be able to make up our minds, we have to peel another skin or two."

After the victory, Postecoglou urged his team to be more clinical in front of goal: "We were just wasteful in front of goal.
"I was disappointed because I thought we could have been a lot more clinical. Sometimes you can fall into the trap of knowing we will create loads of opportunities.
"Because of that you are not as focused as you should be. My view is we are creating opportunities so let’s take as many as we can.”
