Kyogo Furuhashi in cruel Celtic blow as he's injured in Rangers clash after less than 60 seconds

Kyogo Furuhashi has been dealt a cruel early blow in the derby between Celtic and Rangers as he is substituted early doors with a shoulder problem.

The Japanese forward threw himself into a challenge with a number of his own teammates and Rangers players, before going down clutching his shoulder as John Lundstram lunged in to collect the ball. Medics took him to the side of the park for treatment and he initially came back onto the park.

But it soon became clear that he was unable to continue and he trudged off the park clutching his shoulder and chest area. It's a major blow for manager Ange Postecoglou but he can call upon strength in depth as Giorgos Giakoumakis is the man to replace him in attack. Liel Abada and Jota are also in the forward line as they look to gain an early title advantage over their rivals.
