Charlie Adam insists any potential suitors for Kyogo Furuhashi from the English Premier League would need to pay 'big money'.
The Japanese star's stock is on the rise majorly this season as he has hit 20+ goals across all competitions and was the Hampden hero again when his double secured the Viaplay Cup against rivals Rangers in a tantalising 2-1 win on Sunday. Kyogo has been the star man for Ange Postecoglou's side and reportedly had interest from England's top flight from the likes of Crystal Palace.
But former Rangers star Adam believes ex-Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers might be keeping an eye on the 28-year-old, but that any potentially interested parties would have to shelve out a big fee to try and lure him away from Glasgow.

On Kyogo, he told Ice 36: "I'm fortunate enough that I managed to play against him last season. In terms of what he offers, he has terrific movement and energy, you know he can score a goal.
"If Premier League clubs want to sign him, they’ll have to pay big money for him.
"Kyogo is clever enough to be able to adapt in the Premier League. I’m ot sure who’s looking at him but maybe he’s a player Leicester can replace Jamie Vardy with - or even a club like Wolves. What I will say is, it’ll take a lot of money to get him away from Celtic."
The ex-Dundee man also believes Michael Beale still has the chance of silverware but that Celtic's mindset at the moment supersedes that of their rivals.
He added: "Celtic just turned up on the day and especially in the first 45 minutes, they were bang at it. Rangers have to look at themselves because such a defeat is magnified because it’s against Celtic in a cup final, but Ange has got Celtic in a good place and he’s got them playing well, they're in good form and there's nothing you can do about it.
"At the end of the day, you look at what's inside your own club. And on the day Rangers didn’t manage to perform to the levels they know they're capable of. Celtic deserved to win the cup final and Rangers need to move on quickly because the next game is coming up very soon.
"It looks like the Scottish Cup is probably Rangers’ only real chance of silverware. The gap in the league is big but we’ve still got Old Firms to play for. Anything can happen in Scottish football. But at the moment, you look at Celtic, the way they’re performing and the hunger and mindset of the players is different.
"I expect it to be Celtic v Rangers in the Scottish Cup final and it’ll just be about who can hold their nerve because Celtic will obviously be going for a treble and Michael Beale will be looking for his first piece of silverware."
