Corrie star Kym Marsh feels "proud, lucky and excited" to be shifting base to London ahead of the BBC's new morning show.
The Michelle Connor actress, who left the Cobbles in an explosive exit last year, will be fronting Morning Live alongside Welsh rugby ace Gethin Jones.
And now Kym is moving to London with daughter Polly, nine, as she takes on presenting duties.
She shares Polly with fellow soap actor Jamie Lomas, and also has 23-year-old Emily with Dave Cunliffe.
"By the time you read this you'll know that I've been announced as the host of BBC's new show, Morning Live, alongside Gethin Jones," she told readers of her OK! column.

"I am so excited to get started with filming later this month. I'll be moving to London for the series and Polly is coming with me.
"I'll be going back up north on weekends to see everyone and so that Polly gets to spend time with her dad.
"It's such an amazing opportunity, I couldn't turn it down! It's been nearly a year since I filmed my last episode of Coronation Street and despite everything with coronavirus, I'm proud of what I've achieved.
"I feel very lucky and excited for this new chapter."

Morning Live is thought to hit our screens some time in October, a 45-minute show from 9:15am.
That means it will go head-to-head with Lorraine Kelly over on ITV, as it gives fans "a lively and entertaining mix of topical content and expert advice."
It's currently commissioned for a 40-episode run with a view to running into 2021.
Morning Live marks a career first for Kym, who's Corrie exit brought to an end a 13-year stint on the soap.
Last year she told fans she would be "exploring other roles" post-Corrie, having solidified her Corrie fan favourite status.

"I've always enjoyed morning TV, it's a great way to start the day," she told.
"I love nothing more than a good catch up, although this will be on a slightly different scale, more of a daily conversation with our viewers."
That's not to say she has no presenting experience, though, after fronting both the Pride of Birmingham and Manchester Awards.

It's not such a new turn for co-host Gethin, who's had experience hosting The One Show.
He said: "A presenting role on a morning show like this is a bit of a dream for me.
"What I'm most excited about is the opportunity to delve in to some of the biggest issues at the heart of our everyday lives."
