Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan looked happy to be reunited as Neighbours offers its loyal fans a first look at their reunion. The pair will reprise their roles as Charlene Mitchell and Scott Robinson as the Australian soap comes to an end after 37 years on screen.
While details of the story surrounding their return is being kept quiet, pictures taken on the set of the long-running show during its forthcoming finale see the pair back together like they had never been apart.
The adorable snaps show them laughing and embracing, with Kylie looking ageless in a denim jumpsuit with her blonde locks back in tight curls just like Charlene while Jason was seen sporting a check shirt and jeans.

A second image shows them leaning against the bonnet of a car, with Donovan kissing his on-screen lover on the forehead. Popstar Kylie shared the images with her 2.4 million Instagram followers and wrote: "Now we’re back together," a nod to her and Jason’s legendary hit, Especially For You.
Kylie previously discussed her return, saying: "It was lovely and emotional. Driving into Ramsay Street was quite something." She told Today Extra: "Firstly, where’s all that time gone? Secondly, everything looks exactly the same. Thirdly, Scott, Charlene, Jane, Harold – it all just came flooding back!
‘"Here was a lot of talking about memories and going back in time." Jason and Kylie, who are both 54, played Scott and Charlene from 1985 until their departures in 1989 and 1988 respectively. Their return to the soap was first announced in May.
A statement by soap boss Jason Herbison was shared to Twitter which said: "Scott and Charlene are the ultimate Neighbours couple and it would not feel right to end the show without them. We are thrilled that Jason and Kylie have come home to play a very special part in our series finale…"
Singer and theatre star Jason has, meanwhile, posted a photo of the street sign for Ramsay Street signed by him and his co-star, as well as a snap of the cover of his script. He wrote: "So good to be back with this absolute legend @kylieminogue."
Their wedding episode was watched by more than two million Australian viewers when it first aired in 1987, and later pulled in an audience of almost 20 million when it was shown in the UK in 1988.
The soap also launched the careers of Hollywood stars such as Margot Robbie and Liam Hemsworth. But Neighbours will end with a double-episode special on Channel 5 at 9pm on July 29.
