For Halloween 2024, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner dressed up Lizzie McGuire and Isabella Parigi from the iconic 2003 film, The Lizzie McGuire Movie. While I thought it was a stroke of genius, some fans thought their tongue-in-cheek lip-sync video was “awkward”. Now, Kylie has clapped back at the haters.
The sisters posted a cute video lip-syncing in character to the film’s penultimate track “What Dreams Are Made Of”. Their costumes were a sight to be seen, genuinely looking like they were exact replicas of the costumes in the beloved film.

Cute, right? Filing this under inspo for my own Halloween costume in 2025.
Although their costumes were incredible, not everyone vibed with the lighthearted clip. In one comment, a follower wrote, “This felt awkward”.
“You obvi haven’t seen the movie,” Kylie clapped back.
You see, in the film, Lizzie is incredibly nervous when she first takes the stage with dirty dawg Paolo. It’s not until Isabella appears, switches off Paolo’s mic and encourages her to step into her power that she’s able to sing the goddamn house DOWN.
They weren’t the only person critiquing the girlies though, with the most common comment on TikTok being: “Yes girls, give us nothing!!!!”
Along with the Lizzie Mguire-inspired outfits, Kylie also dressed up as Demi Moore from his 1996 film Striptease. Or, more specifically, dressed down.
Say what you want about the Jenner girlies but they really don’t half-ass Halloween looks.
