Elite striker Kylian Mbappe's future took a new twist as a respected French publication revealed a serious new competitor has entered the fray for his summer signature.
The France superstar is out of contract at the end of this season and speculation abounds as to where he is headed next.
RMC Sport's Jerome Rothen claims there is a mystery third club that is trying to sign him as well as PSG, who are desperate for him to pen a new deal, and Real Madrid.
He insists the club is NOT Real's arch-rivals Barcelona.
And that potentially indicates it is a Premier League side that are putting out feelers such as previously-linked Liverpool or Manchester City.
Rothen, who won 13 caps for France in his playing career, said: "According to the information I've been given, there is a third club that has entered the fray and that could also make him think
"I don't know the identity of this club but what is certain is that it is not Barcelona.
"It has been confirmed to me by the entourage. Barcelona is out of the question for him to go, for several reasons.
"But today in Europe, there are not fifteen thousand who can receive Kylian Mbappé.... It's between PSG, Real and maybe one other."
