Kylian Mbappe's feud with the French FA has continued after the Paris Saint-Germain attacker reportedly refused to take part in a photoshoot with the national team.
France are set to take part in a team photo day on Tuesday ahead of their two Nations League matches this week with Mbappe amongst Didier Deschamps' squad. However, Mbappe won't be taking part after the Federation reportedly refused to 'modify the agreement' of image rights of the players.
According to L'Equipe, Mbappe's representatives are also unhappy no agreement could, as requested, be reached ahead of the World Cup in Qatar. The forward's frustration and subsequent row has been bubbling since March after he boycotted a marketing campaign which involved betting and fast food companies.
Mbappe is said to have felt uncomfortable being used to promote such products, and also supposedly believes that the individual images of certain player are being portrayed differently by the national team with some being used more than others. Other players in the France squad are withdrawn from the process and claim they would like to have a say in the brands with which internationals are associated.
In March, Le Parisien reported that the former Monaco forward does not want his image associated with a select number of French national team partners - specifically betting companies or fast food outlets. Mbappe reportedly does not want to associate himself with products linked to obesity, and he sees online betting as a danger to his younger fans.

Les Bleus' sponsors are allowed to pick five players to take part in their advertising campaigns - and it appears that Mbappe has been selected once more. It is unclear that this point whether he will face sanctions for his refusal to take part in the photoshoot.
However, Mbappe's camp revealed in a statement that this row with the French FA isn't going to have any impact on his dedication and focus to the national team. The decision to boycott the photoshoot "obviously does not call into question his total commitment and his determination to contribute to the collective success of the national team for the important sporting events to come."
Le Bleus face Austria on Thursday at the Stade de France, before they travel to Denmark on Sunday as Deschamps side try and bounce back from a terrible summer camp, where they failed to win any of their four matches. They were held to draws against Croatia and Austria, before losing against Denmark and Croatia with France currently sitting bottom of their Nations League group and risk being relegated.
