Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe was advised to join Liverpool - according to a report from France.
According to a report by El Pais, they claim Mbappe’s 'most respected football advisor', his uncle Pierre Mbappe, saw the Reds as the 'most appropriate destination' for him. The report also claims Liverpool have been in contact with Mbappe’s family for years.
Mbappe has so far been in electric form for Christophe Galtier's side, finding the net 12 times in 14 appearances in all competitions - and was linked with a move to Anfield just last week. According to a report from Spain, Mbappe told the French giants he wanted to leave in July amid significant interest from Real Madrid, who bid £154 million for the 23-year-old in the summer before he signed a new contract in Paris.

The report from Marca claims that the forward now wants to leave in January as his relationship with the French club is 'completely broken' - but he will not be allowed to join Madrid and his only feasible option could be Liverpool.
But speaking at the weekend Mbappe dismissed claims he is unhappy with the French side. He said: “I have not asked to leave Paris Saint-Germain in January. I’m not furious with the club, it’s not true.
''I didn't understand why the story came out on the day of a game. I was as shocked as everyone. People can think I was involved but I wasn't at all."
