Argentina goalkeeper Emiliano Martinez was left with the last laugh following Sunday's blockbuster World Cup final against France.
Having led by two goals heading into the final twenty minutes, PSG star Kylian Mbappe struck twice to ensure extra time, before further goals from Lionel Messi and Mbappe meant the game would be decided on penalties.
Up to his old tricks throughout, the former Arsenal man's clever antics helped swayed the tie his nation's way, as Gonzalo Montiel's deciding spot-kick meant the World Cup would head to South America for the first time since 2002.

It was Mbappe who was left with egg on his face so to speak, after making bold claims earlier this year that European sides had a bigger advantage heading into the tournament in the Middle East. France was of course bidding to be only the third team to retain a World Cup crown.
"The advantage we have in Europe is that we play among ourselves with high-level matches all the time, such as the Nations League," the former Monaco forward declared.
"When we arrive at the World Cup, we are ready, where Brazil and Argentina do not have this level in South America. Football is not as advanced as in Europe. That’s why at the last World Cups, it's always the Europeans who win."
Martinez however did not hold back heading into the game, as he responded earlier this week: "He said that the level of South America is lower than the European level because he did not play there. If you do not have the experience then it is difficult to comment, but nothing was wrong with what he said. They know we are a world-class team and they respect us for that."
