Kylian Mbappe's club future could directly impact both of Enzo Fernandez and Jude Bellingham as Real Madrid continue their interest in the French superstar.
The Spanish giants have long been keen on trying to lure Mbappe to the Santiago Bernabeu, but when the 24-year-old put pen to paper on a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain earlier this year, it seemed that all hope of the forward becoming a Real Madrid player in the near future had been lost.
That was before more reports of dressing room unrest at the Parc des Princes emerged and placed Mbappe's future in the French capital in fresh doubt. Naturally this has not evaded the attention of those at the top of the Los Blancos hierarchy.
Off the back of his sensational World Cup campaign with Les Bleus, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez is reportedly desperate to finally land Mbappe's signature. The only snag is that the astronomical cost of signing the PSG star would drastically reduce Madrid's ability to spend on other areas.
According to Spanish outlet SPORT, figures as high as €300million are being touted as the required number to sign Mbappe when taking into account the fee for PSG and the signing on fee the player would pocket. This is without factoring in the huge wages a talent of his calibre would demand.
As a result, there is little to no chance the reigning LaLiga champions could also sign both World Cup breakout star Enzo Fernandez and English teenage sensation Jude Bellingham like they had originally hoped.

Fernandez has been a hot topic ever since he emerged as one of the most promising midfielders currently plying their trade in Europe after a fantastic World Cup effort that saw the 21-year-old crowned the Young Player of the Tournament.
Bellingham has been one of the most in-demand midfield talents in European football for quite some time, with the England international boasting a level of ludicrous technical ability that defies his 19 years.
Carlo Ancelotti's side have been interested in securing their services, but they are not alone in their interest with Premier League titans Liverpool also keen on both.
The Reds are thought to favour a move for Bellingham, but regard Fernandez as the ideal alternative should they be priced out of a deal for the Borussia Dortmund sensation.
Recent reports have suggested Real Madrid are ahead of Liverpool when it comes to the race for Bellingham, though it is unclear if those reports factor in the cost of any move for Mbappe.
The futures of both Fernandez and Bellingham seemingly hinge on Mbappe and his decision surrounding whether he wants to finally make that leap to the Bernabeu and become a Real Madrid player.
