Kylian Mbappe wants to leave Paris Saint-Germain as early as January, according to a new report, which claims Liverpool could be his 'only option'.
The World Cup winner confirmed that he held transfer talks with Liverpool before deciding to stay at the French club this summer, signing an improved deal to remain in the French capital. But a new report from Spanish outlet Marca, claims that Mbappe, 23, is already planning an escape route out of Paris and could even move on in the January transfer window.
Marca claims that PSG agreed to allow the France international to leave in the summer, but would not allow him to move to European champions Real Madrid, before he eventually signed a new contract. They also claim that the relationship between Mbappe and PSG is 'completely broken' and given their refusal to let their star man join Madrid, a move to Liverpool 'could be the only option'.

After renewing his deal with the French champions, Mbappe revealed that had spoken to Liverpool about a possible move to Anfield. "We talked a little bit, but not too much. We talked a little bit," Mbappe told The Telegraph.
Explaining in their report why Mbappe wants to leave PSG, Marca said: "Mbappé considers that PSG have betrayed him. To understand why you have to go back to May. As MARCA explained, the sports management made a series of promises, most of them unfeasible, so that he would stamp his signature and renew until 2024. That was the deal, and not until 2025, as L'Équipe uncovered.
"The player, in fact, agreed to pose with a shirt with a 5 at the end, instead of a 4, as a sign of good disposition and gratitude to his city team."
Mbappe has already scored 11 goals in 12 games this season for PSG, and 182 in 228 appearances for the club overall since his move from Monaco in 2017.
