Qatari investors have emerged as potential suitors to buy Manchester United from the Glazers. And, if they're successful then the Red Devils would certainly receive a huge cash injection as they looks to rekindle the club's glory days.
According to the Daily Mail, Qatari investors want to give Erik ten Hag the financial backing to lead United 'back to the top'. The report states that they will make an offer for the club in the coming days ahead of the mid-February deadline set by the Glazers.
It's said that they're confident they will 'blow their competition out of the water' as they eye a full takeover. With Qatari investors at the helm of Old Trafford, Ten Hag would have a war chest enabling the Red Devils the ability to compete with the world's richest clubs for the most sought-after players.

And, Kylian Mbappe has surfaced as an obvious potential target of United when considering that Qatari investors already own Paris Saint-Germain. According to ESPN last month, Harry Kane is a priority target for the Red Devils alongside Victor Osimhen and Benjamin Sesko.
However, the report states that United will only launch a move for the Spurs captain 'if he opts against signing a new contract'. The England international sees his deal at Hotspur Way expire in 18 months and there has already been dispute among pundits as to whether he should stick or twist.
So, if United are taken over by Qatari investors and then plot a move for Mbappe, Tottenham will be given a huge boost as they look to tie down Kane to a new deal.
Qatar Sports Investments are the owners of PSG. And, one entity cannot own two clubs in the same competition. Therefore, there can not be two same investors in both the Parisians and United if either club want a place in the Champions League.
In the meantime, Kane faces an increasingly uncertain future at N17 with his deal set to expire in less than 18 months. Speaking on talkSPORT in the summer, Danny Murphy encouraged the Spurs captain to pen a new deal.
"If I was Kane, I would be signing and saying, ‘I’m here. This is me'," said the former Liverpool midfielder. "If he waits and sees it out, he’ll be 31. Two years down the line, you never know what’s going to happen.
"He’s had injury problems, he’s a huge guy. Does it cause a problem in his relationship with the fans if he doesn’t sign a new deal by the end of the season?"
