Kylian Mbappe and the 3 PSG 'broken promises' as Messi and Ramos join Team Neymar in dressing room split

Kylian Mbappe reportedly feels PSG have broken their promise to bring three players to the club as he pushes for an exit. But it's claimed in France that teammates Lionel Messi and Sergio Ramos are growing sick of him and would rather the club get rid than yield to his demands.

Superstar Mbappe had PSG over a barrel towards the end of last season as he approached the end of his contract with the club moving hell and high water to convince him to sign. He was seemingly on the brink of joining Real Madrid on a free transfer but in May it was announced that he'd signed a new deal to remain in the French capital.

As well as a meteoric base salary of £42.5million, his contract also included a reported level of control over team selections and transfer policy - something unheard of that summarises just how desperate the French side were to keep him. But such a heavily weighted contract has led to tensions with teammates and he's had a barely concealed public feud with Neymar.

Behind the scenes it's believed tensions are flaring too. It's claimed by French journalist Romain Molina that Mbappe was promised the club would sign Robert Lewandowski, Milan Skriniar and Bernardo Silva, and those promises convinced him to pen a new contract. But they didn't land any of that trio and as a result, L’Equipe say the 23-year-old is now weighing up whether to terminate his contract with a desire to pursue a new challenge elsewhere.

More reports in France say that veterans Messi and Ramos feel he has grown "too big for his boots" and would prefer the club to grant him his wish and move him on rather than let him dictate things further. It's reported that the final year on Mbappe's contract, which runs until 2025, is optional hinging on the consent of the player - so he could leave for free at the end of next season if things don't improve.
