The owners of the Kylesku Lodges in rural Sutherland have put them on the market, looking for £1.4m.
Bruce & Company are acting for Cath and Mike Sinclair, who run the 10-lodge property located about an hour north of Ullapool and on the North Coast 500 tourist route.
The A-frame lodges are on a 10.5 acre site in the parish of Assynt, near to north west coast beaches, views over Quinag and Loch a’ Chàirn Bhàin.
The Sinclairs bought the lodges in 2016. Originally from Edinburgh, their background in construction and design allowed them to turn the site into a popular spot with the growing number of tourists to the area.
Over the last six years they have fitted new bathrooms in each lodge, as well as updated the flooring, decor and furniture. Last winter, they upgraded all the kitchens and completed re-cladding the lodges with Scottish larch.
There's also a new reception room for arrivals, which doubles up as a studio and shop for Cath's knitted textiles - she runs Cove Design - as well as prints and cards from other local designers.
There is historical planning consent for 20 lodges, along with pre-applications for four shoreline plots and full planning for an owner's house on site. There is also the potential to build an on-site restaurant and bar, as well as a static caravan used for housekeeping accommodation.
Mike and Cath are looking to pursue other opportunities and business interests while continuing to live in Kylesku.
