Kyler Murray off Cardinals’ injury report Thursday

If Wednesday’s injury report caught the attention of Arizona Cardinals fans and the rest of the NFL because quarterback Kyler Murray was a full participant, Thursday’s is even more intriguing.

Murray was removed from the injury report completely.

The Cardinals released their second injury report of the week on Thursday and Murray had no practice designation, essentially meaning that his knee is no longer of any concern at all.

He is still officially on the PUP (physically unable to perform) reserve and not on the active roster.

Could Murray be in line to be activated this weekend and be in the starting lineup when the Cardinals host the Baltimore Ravens? While this news doesn’t guarantee it, it certainly makes it appear to be going in that direction.

The question will naturally be how much of the first-team reps he is getting in practice, if any.

It was reported over the weekend that his return would be either next Weeks 9 or 10.

Either way, it create major intrigue for the Cardinals’ Saturday roster moves.

Murray might be back.
