Kyler Murray likely to return vs. Browns or Falcons

The Arizona Cardinals opened the practice window for quarterback Kyler Murray, starting the clock to his being activated from PUP.

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, the Cardinals plan on using most, if not all, the three-week window they have to activate him.

“This is not going to be a rush situation,” Rapoport said on NFL Gameday. “So likely November 5 against the Browns or November 12 against the Falcons, expecting to use all three weeks.”

The Cardinals opened the 21-day window for him to practice on Wednesday, designating him to return from PUP, where he was rehabbing from his torn ACL suffered last December.

The game on November 5 on the road against Cleveland would be the third game after Murray was designated to return.

The 21-day window ends November 7. If they waited until then, his first game would be at home against Atlanta.

Murray had surgery on his knee in January, making an early November return 10 months after his surgery.
