Kyler Murray didn’t play in the Cardinals’ first preseason game so he made himself useful as the waterboy

Yes, that’s right. You read that headline correctly. Kyler Murray — who might be the best athlete on the field at any given time — became the Cardinals’ waterboy on Friday during their preseason debut.

Murray didn’t actually play in the game at all. And, of course, he didn’t. It’s only the first preseason game, after all. He didn’t need to be in there.

But, obviously, there’s been lots of controversy swirling around Murray. Both his leadership and his study habits have been called into question before. That doesn’t paint him as a great teammate in the least bit.

But this? This seems pretty good. It’s always great to bring your guys water.

Doesn’t seem like a very bad teammate right there. Cardinals fans obviously agreed.
