Here’s the latest Kyle Walker transfer news as several Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly interested in the Manchester City star.
England defender Walker has emerged as a major target for several clubs in the hugely wealthy Saudi Pro League.
The 34-year-old veteran has been struggling at City this season, and rumours are growing of a possible exit.
With 18 months remaining on his current deal at the Etihad, some have suggested the club could cash in soon.
Walker himself has previously said “never say never” regarding a move to the Middle East.
Interested clubs include Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr, as well as Al-Ittihad and Al-Ahli.
Any move is more likely to happen in the summer, though. Manchester City are suffering an injury crisis and it is highly unlikely they will allow a senior player such as Walker to depart midway through the season.
Kyle Walker Transfer Latest Follows Vital City Win
Injuries and poor form have left the Premier League champions a shell of their former selves.
Victory at Leicester City would have felt routine in previous years, but Sunday’s 2-0 win at the King Power was only their second in the last 14 games.
Erling Haaland and Savinho were the scorers to earn a vital three points – much to the relief of Pep Guardiola.
He said: “I think it is more relief than happiness, I think that’s the right word.
“As a performance, it was not the best, I couldn’t expect it, really. Leicester were better in the last 10-15 minutes of the first half, in the last 15-20 of the second.
“The game was tight. We have to improve a lot. We will improve as the results improve, that’s for sure. The best of us will come back.
“Against Everton the performance was far better than today but today we won and that’s what we need to clean our minds and souls and see we can win games.
“I never thought it was difficult to win one single game but now we feel it. Maybe it’s good.
“That period helps to see what we have done, it made me reflect on how difficult it is to do what we have done.”
