Manchester City and England defender Kyle Walker is facing a police probe after a drunken video of him surfaced on Wednesday.
The 32-year-old right-back was allegedly caught on CCTV in a Manchester-based bar appearing to flash by pulling down his trousers and kissing a woman in a bar on Sunday. In a video originally shared by The Sun, Walker is shown arriving at the bar alongside a group of friends at around 5:20pm on Sunday - the day after helping his side beat Newcastle 2-0 at the Etihad Stadium.
The group stayed at the venue for around an hour-and-a-half, with Walker apparently downing shots and dancing up against a woman. At one point the 32-year-old appears to drop his tracksuit bottoms to flash those nearby, who react by looking away.
The video then also allegedly shows Walker kissing and grabbing one of his companions. He danced provocatively with one of them before trying to leave at 6.40pm with his friends.
Walker is now set to face questions for his actions. A statement from authorities to The Sun read: "On Wednesday 8 March, Cheshire police were made aware of a video circulating on social media in relation to an indecent exposure which allegedly occurred in the Wilmslow area.
"Enquiries in relation to the incident are in the early stages and no arrests have been made at this time."
Manchester City declined to comment whilst Mirror Football have contacted Walker's representatives. Meanwhile Walker has been back in training as Pep Guardiola attempts to prepare his side for this weekend’s clash with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park on Saturday evening.
The 73-time England international has made 21 appearances for City so far this season in all competitions, captaining the club on a couple of occasions. Mirror Football understands Man City see the alleged incident as a personal matter.
Teresa Parker, of Women’s Aid, said on Tuesday: “Whether done to shock, for a so-called laugh, or to intimidate, for those affected by indecent exposure there can be long-term effects, upset and trauma.
“It can give the person exposing themselves a sense of power in the situation. And if there are no repercussions, it possibly gives them the confidence to see what they can get away with next time.”
Walker, who has four children, has been married to model and reality TV star Annie Kilner since November 2021. The couple, who were childhood sweethearts, have three sons together, Roman, Riaan and Reign.
They previously met when Waker was 19 years old and Kilner was 16 and were together for over nine years, splitting in May 2019 before later getting back together.
