After news broke that longtime couple Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky were separating, the two put out a joint statement on Instagram to squash any rumours.
"Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue," the statement reads, "we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone's part".
The joint statement concludes: "While it may be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative."
The star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and her real estate mogul husband met at a nightclub in 1994 and got married two years later.
Together they have three daughters: Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15. Kyle has a daughter Farrah, 34, from her previous relationship with Guraish Aldjufrie.
The statement goes on to say that this was one of the most challenging years the couple has had in their marriage.
People Magazine reported on Monday that a source close to the family claimed the pair split and that the couple has been separated for a while but were still living together.
The family shot to fame after appearing on the first series of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in 2010. As of now, Kyle is the only original Beverly Hills housewife to still appear on the show. Kyle and her family have been fan favourites for the past twelve seasons.
Kyle was no stranger to Hollywood before appearing on the hit Bravo show.
From 1975 to 1982 she had a reoccurring role on Little House on the Prairie. In 1978 she appeared in Halloween as a child being babysat by one of the victims of Michael Myers. She reprised the role in Halloween Kills, a 2021 film that follows the events of the first movie 40 years later.
Kyle's sister, Kim Richards, appeared as a regular on Real Housewives of Beverly Hills for the first five seasons and then made guest appearances until season 10.
Mauricio is the founder and CEO of The Agency, a real estate agency that represents some of the top celebrities in the world. He also has a Netflix series, Buying Beverly Hills, about The Agency that premiered in 2022 and has recently been renewed for a second season.
Kyle most recently posted about her husband for Father's Day on Instagram. In her post, she shared both recent and throwback pictures saying she was "grateful that our girls have such an incredible Dad." Mauricio thanked her in the post and added three red heart emojis.
