Kyle Hamilton has roller coaster game in loss to Browns

When people reflect on how Baltimore Ravens safety Kyle Hamilton played in the week eight, 29-24 loss at the Cleveland Browns, they’ll likely only remember his dropped interception that would have sealed the victory.

That’s unfortunate because Hamilton had such a great game, filled with highlights and big plays to counterbalance that dropped pick.

However, it’s understandable why this dropped INT will remain etched in our brains. First, it was such an easy interception; it’s truly stunning that he couldn’t corral it.

Secondly, Cleveland Browns QB Jameis Winston, in for the injured Deshaun Watson (season-ending Achilles rupture), threw the game-winning touchdown pass on the very next play.

So that was the lowest of the lows for Hamilton, but there were many highs, too. The former Notre Dame star had ten tackles, one sack (which you can watch below), one tackle for loss, two passes defended, and two QB hits.

On that sack, Hamilton forced a fumble, which Baltimore recovered to set up their first touchdown of the afternoon. Indeed, it was the best of times, but it was the worst of times for Hamilton today.
