Kurt Cobain and Tony Hawk's offspring are the latest celebrity kids to have fallen in love.
Frances Bean Cobain, daughter of the late Nirvana rocker and Courtney Love, has confirmed she's dating Riley Hawk, the son of professional skateboarder Tony.
After taking a year-long break from Instagram, artist Frances, 29, shared a string of snaps to mark the beginning of 2022.
Among them was one of her sitting on board a boat with Riley's arms wrapped around her.
And sat not far away from them is Tony and his wife Catherine Goodman.
Another snap in the collection showed Riley, also 29, sitting by the Christmas tree with one of Frances' dogs - dressed in a festive outfit - on his lap.
Others showed Frances' artwork, her dogs, her grandmother, and a throwback picture of herself as a baby with her dad, who tragically took his own life in 1994.
She penned: "I took a year long break from posting on Instagram which was exceptionally good for my mental, emotional & spiritual health. 2021 brought me more into the present moment than I’ve ever been, which I’m deeply grateful for. I wanted to share a few moments that were captured / created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy.
"Here’s to hoping everyone’s 2022 is filled with authentic connections, a lot of warmth & profound discovery of self happy new year."
Riley, also a pro skater, commented: "Happy new year my love!"
While Lily Cornell Silver, daughter of late Soundgarden star Chris Cornell, told her: "Your happy makes me happy!"
Frances has kept the memory of her late father very much alive, and she regularly pays tribute to him on social media.
On what would have been his 53rd birthday, before she took time away from social media, Frances shared a beautiful picture of her dad holding her in his arms when she was a baby.
She added a green heart and a dove emoji to her Instagram story.
The year before, she'd marked the 25th anniversary of Kurt's death with a poignant message.
The model and artist wrote: "If you are struggling with your mental health and need someone to talk to please do not be afraid to reach out to your friends, neighbours, parents, counsellors, teachers or even strangers on the internet.
"Needing help is not a weakness. Lets end the stigma and shame towards the struggle with mental health."
Kurt was 27 when he took his own life.
His body was discovered three days later by an electrician at his cottage, which overlooked Lake Washington in Seattle.
A gun and a suicide note were found at the scene.
Kurt had written: "The fact is I can't fool you. The worst crime I can think of would be to rip people off by faking it."
It was later ruled that he had been dead for at least 34 hours.
