Kun Temenuzhkov makes Leeds United promise following Elland Road departure

Kun Temenuzhkov has vowed to keep following Leeds United after the player's Elland Road departure was confirmed. The forward has joined Spanish fourth tier side CDA Navalcarnero, ending a five-year association with Leeds.

The Bulgarian joined Leeds in 2017 from Barcelona, immediately linking up with Carlos Corberan's under-23s side. The 22-year-old made just one first-team appearance for the Whites, coming off the bench in an FA Cup third round defeat at QPR in January 2019.

Temenuzhkov has spent time on loan at Spanish clubs in his latter years at Leeds. In 2020, he joined CF La Nucia, where he made just two appearances before the season was halted due to Covid-19. For the past two full seasons, Temenuzhkov has been on loan at Real Union. Across the two campaigns, he made 45 appearances, scoring six goals and claiming one assist.
