KT Tunstall admits she is suffering 'Swiss cheese' syndrome after forgetting words to own songs

KT Tunstall has admitted she is suffering 'Swiss cheese' syndrome after forgetting the words to one of her most famous songs.

The St Andrews-born singer decided to let fans know of her momentary blip on stage after she couldn't remember the lyrics to her hit tune 'Black Horse And The Cherry Tree.'

KT, who played back the footage of her forgetting her words during the show, also showed her fans that she was determined to resolve the solution.

And the simplest way was the old fashioned solution of writing the words on a paper prompt in front of her whilst she performs.

KT appeared to be having problems with the words to more than one song as she wrote down other lyrics: ""I got a feeling that maybe it ain't the way it should be."

She told fans: "I'm currently writing down the lyrics so I can see them cause you know me and you know my brain. F***ing Swiss cheese."

KT's followers loved her honesty and one wrote: "I heart your brain."

Another added: "We love this stuff it makes it real."

And someone else said: "Your stage banter has always been a highlight of your shows."
