The Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) has been chosen for the Sanrakshan Kshamta Mahotsav (SAKSHAM) Award instituted by the Petrolum Conservation Research Foundation under the Union Ministry of Petroleum. The Corporation secured the second place among States operating more than 3,000 buses for achieving better fuel efficiency in 2020-21 compared to the previous year. The award carries a cash prize of ₹3 lakh and a trophy. Union Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas Hardeep Singh Puri will present the award to KSRTC at a function to be held in Delhi on April 11.
