
The Riyadh-based King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) delivered medical equipment in support of refugees coming from Ukraine to Poland, reported the Saudi Press Agency on Friday.
Saudi Arabia has offered 10 million dollars to support Ukrainian refugees in Poland.
The delivery of the equipment took place at a ceremony in the Polish city of Slaska.
Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Rabeeah, Advisor at the Royal Court, Supervisor General of KSrelief, attended the event along with Polish and World Health Organization officials.
Al-Rabeeah said the equipment will support medical teams that are receiving the refugees coming from Ukraine to Poland.
The grant embodies the keenness of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to provide assistance to refugees wherever they are to ease their suffering, he added.
He underscored the close relations and strategic partnership between KSrelief and the WHO that has helped serve millions of people around the world.
